From my own experience of fitting these wheels I would say 20mm spacers on the back are no good. I've put 10mm on and the sliding door just clears (with only a mm or 2mm clearance). The difference with these wheels as opposed to the wheels other members have mentioned is that the later style ML wheel spokes stick out quite far. Check out my garage to see if the wheels I have fitted are the same as yours.

SORTED, front wheels needed 25mm spacers and longer bolts.
Rears need longer studs and 10mm spacers
Managed to get budget tyres for £180 including postage (98 load rating)

The fun will really start if and when you think of lowering it!

I take it that picture was taken before it was lowered? it looks pretty high if not.

The reason i say this is that i had wheels with spacers on mine at standard height but when lowered it by 60mm it ripped the arches to bits.

I had them machined so i could do away with the spacers and went back up to 45mm.

Nice colours, by the way.

Thanks for comm on colour scheme Shepster.

But yeah the pic is AFTER its been lowered.
I've put some more pics of the van before alloys were fitted.
It still not as i would like it height wise but it drives spot on at the moment.
