Took delivery of my wheels today, 8J 17" et 52. They look HUGE
So, just a few questions before I part with any more money:

1) Are 20mm spacers adequate?

2) What size tyres do you recommend? (van not lowered)

3) Will I have any issues with sliding door clearance? (1989 van)

4) What length studs will I need?

Cheers Guys

1...yes

2...on a 17" rim a 225/50X17 would be required, or 205/55X17 so the speedo and gearing is accurate (but I don't recommend them as they are not van tyres...too weak)

3...no

4...measure the distance from the bottom of the wheel nut seat (narrow end) to the rear bolt face of the wheel.

8J rim will need at least a 235 tyre if not wider, 215 is only just big enough on a 7J rim. Insurance needs to be considered
Keep it real.

OK, wheels on ... took a bit more messing about than I thought. Never mind eh?

They don't look that big on the van but they are huge

Can't remember if I've given the dimensions of the wheels before but they are 17" x 8J, PCD 112, ET 56. Put 225/45/17 Xload tyres on, with extended bolts and studs, and wheels spacers all round. Has anyone else had as much trouble as I have getting extended wheel studs on the rear?
