Tyres weight rating ????

Post by fried chicken »

Ok here goes, I have just purchased some alloys + tyres for my Buss, the max load is 615 KG per tyre x 4 = 2460 KG correct?
Wiki autohome manual states gross weight 2340KG. So the tyre / wheels I have are OK ??
I don't want to put my family in danger, but i am confussed about this, any help is welcome, thanks. :?

the backs need a slightly higer rating than the front, fronts need a 92 and backs a 94 load rating from memory. Do not worry about a few kg, the load rating are based at higher speeds than a tyre can do and there will be a safety margin.

I don't want to put my family in danger,

On a weigh bridge my camper weighed in at 2400kg full of fuel loaded for two weeks and all of us in

empty it was 1984kg

no tyres on my van would be less than 97...

car tyres belong on cars not commercial vehicles
