Cab curtain tie backs.

Post by jake1953 »

Curtains and tie backs fitted but sa for the two cab curtains, where do the tie backs go? I'm using brass cup hooks as the anchor point but dont want to interfere with the access to the seatbelts. can I ask how yours are held in place? I have a piece of cord holding them back in the meantime.
Appreciate any help
Jake

I use giant press studs (Dunelm stock them plus fitting tool) on my tie backs although most of the time, those particular curtains are better removed as they can obscure your view when driving.

As a quick fix to get me on holiday the other week...i used some domestic cable fixings and replaced the nails for self tappers. I use nice rope on mine and have a knot each side so they wont slide out.

Thanks for the answers people. I went to a local t25 breaker and he had 4 vans in. seems like anything goes. I saw press studs, cup hooks and stuck on velcro.
