Got these in the post today. Mk 1 golf H4 headlights with angel eyes. Just got to wait for the bus to come back from the paint shop and then going to work out how I am to butcher the original lights and get the mountings fitted. Going to a relay mod to lights to get rid of the volt drop as others have done.

Still waiting for my clear indicators to arrive and ordered new window scrapers, short and long felts tonight. Funds are depleating rapidly again. Oh well :D

Thanks guys,
Merlin, you do not have to spend lots of money to make things look good. Just take your time and look for alternatives. :D
The pictures actually make it look better than it actually is. Lots of bits letting it down still but I will get round to em eventually. First outing to vdub in the pub in a few weeks. Cant wait.

Lovin the angel eye headlamps, I fitted some to my mini. Where did you source them from and where they a straight swap or did you have to do a bit of fettling?

Still have not finished them to be honest. Hoping to do it this week and then get then lined up. It wasn't very difficult though. I think it all depends where you get em from.

Did the relay mod to the headlights today and got them running. They still in need of lining up but they are still brilliant now. Best mod I have done. Cost me £65 in all and a bit of head scratching but well worth it.
Here they are on dipped, The camera does not do them justice. They are crystal clear and ultra bright
