i trip allows you to play your i pod via your radio, via FM signal sent from your i trip to a designated stereo in your vehicle. Its a clever little gadget

thanks, i love the colour too. daughter does NOT like green even tho she loves Tinkerbell

Must come and check out your site later on!

itrip does look a handy little gadget, and it's just that little dongle thingy? cool! cheaper than fitting a docking station but of course doesn't run a charge into the unit I guess. I assume there is a radio combined with the minidisc thingy LOL!

FM Transmitters for ipods are available on abay for much less than that.

Some transmitters only work on a few frequencies, which is no good as you may be in the wrong area that has strong radio signals on those frequencies so get one that can use the whole FM spectrum. Mine can so you just move about the FM requencies if say radio 2 is coming through over your ipod.

Can't remember which ebay shop mine came from but there were plenty for sale.

I have one that is remote control and it charges up the gadget. The remote control just about works from the bed end of the bus. Candles, fine wines, Belgian chocolates and a little bit of Marvyn Gaye...... :pimp
Jane and Paul

More seemingly inept VW un/related questions/statements will follow in due course.

In my 1990 Autohomes the gas bottle is in the cupboard I've marked with a tick but, on yours it looks like a heater has been put in there :? The floor should have a vent in it like N&T say, worth a look eh? Not sure if where you have it at the mo' is the best place unless that is your spare bottle. Nice van BTW, enjoy :D

Hi, thanks for the tip. I'm collecting next week so will check it out. The cupboard you marked is empty so I'll be moving the bottle down there.

Might ring the seller today and check the floor vent situ, am sure he can put one in if it's not there for some reason.

:-)

The cupboard with the tick usually houses the Porta potti when your not using the buddy box system.

The gas bottles on mine are housed to the right of the ticked cupboard, on the floor with 2 drop holes.
