Post by jeffdub »

has anyone ever fitted a caravanstore roll out awning to a tin top ? I've got one and was looking for tips before I start screwing awning rails all over my roof :D

We have an awning rail screwed to our tin top and painted black to match the roof...works a treat :ok

rather than screw the awning rail to the van how about either getting the fiamma T25 brackets and bolting a channel then awning rail onto those, or alternativly onto a roof rack?

I use the fiamma brackets along with a fiamma T35 and that works really well

yes, the cheaper ones are the ones I've got, they've already got a little 'clip' already built in that the F35 awning slots into, I'm sure you could mod them them to take a full length rail for a caravan store awning - or sell it and get the F35 instead
