awning advice please

Post by bluedirtydigit »

We have a Khyam 5000 XC drive away awning for our T25 which is huge 4 berth +, great for long stop overs, but I am looking for something a little smaller for touring and weekend stops preferably with an inner tent/bedroom I quite fancy a blow up one (tent that is  ) what can you guy's recommend or would you buy? I have seen a lot and can't decide.

What do you need it for?

Perhaps a popup two man tent would be a quick and simple solution for overnight stops?

I did think of that but would probably have to pay for camper and tent instead of one unit.

Ok...longish story made as short as possible.

Bought van. It came with a Royal Traveller awning. Takes up loads of space in the van. A bit of a faff to put up. Bought a smaller one. Went to shows. Felt a bit "cut off" from others who were sitting under their canopies. I still have the awning as there will be a time and a place for it, but am much happier with a Caravanstore roll out awning. It doesn't take up room in the van. Is easy to roll out and pin down......and you could buy...or make....sides for it if you wanted more privacy or protection from the weather.

Just a thought....
