Help - What is my van?
Hi, complete newbie here! Can anyone tell me what conversion they think my van could be. Think it was converted from a transporter (1989 1.9 petrol) a few years after manufacture into a high top -possibly autosleeper? Got a fridge/sink unit that looks like it was westfalia?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Help - What is my van?
that's a home made camper
westfalia kitchen unit and opening side window fitted to an old panel van
hightop roof fitted and a nice paint job.
is theer a rear bed/ cupboard as it may be a full westy interior fitted
westfalia interiors were desgined for LHD vans only.

Looking at the LH side pic, there's daylight visible through the pimptint where the side cupboard would be - and I'd guess having the cupboard and cooker on opposite sides would make it all a bit unwieldy for moving around, even if the bed'd unfold fully.

Re: Help - What is my van?
No more furniture units. Full width rock n roll bed. Roof beds boxed in with panels and made into cupboards. Am deciding how best to convert to roof beds for the kids. Also in need of a picture to tell me whet the two rows of leds mean on the panel just in front of the sink unit. Assuming one is for water tank levels and the other may be for leisure battery charge level?

I have to ask - what's a "pimptint"? - not a light toner applied to huggy bear I assume?!AdrianC wrote:billy739 wrote:is theer a rear bed/ cupboard as it may be a full westy interior fitted

Re: Help - What is my van?
Thanks. Got the ones on the right. Assume the top 3 on the left are water levels, but bottom one on left on mine is red, and on all the time even though my gas is not connected to the fridge, so not sure about this one.
