Diesel Webasto thermotop plumbing?

Post by Aberdeenbus »

For the guys who have fitted one, did you "tee" into the feed or return fuel lines, I recall somewhere that is a return line only if your fuel line is pumped?

Cheers

My diesel heater is plumbed on the flow. You just don't want to cut it in anywhere that is under pressure (almost impossible on our diesels)

Cheers for that, I was thinking in the feed pipe not long after the tank.

Thanks

You can only use the return if you are certain that the return is to the lower reaches of the fuel tank so that it is under the surface of the fuel. Tee into the flow is the best but if done before the filter fit a small inline filter to the new line.
