is anyone using one of these as a means of heating or a water/coolant heater ?

well....we bought a rover 75 a while ago and they seem to be fitted into these. i didn't realise it was there till the other day we got a fuel leak and it was from the dosing pump....anyhows it got me thinking on how it could be used if there was a radiator of sorts it pumped round with maybe a fan to blow it out. I dunno .. I was just thinking too hard praps.

I have a doc. on how to service them if anyone is interested , as im doing mine.
they arnt all that big compared to some ive seen

could be a bit of a gamble and the dosing pump is 65 quid cheapest ive seen

For camping, the airtronics are better. The coolant ones are great for engine preheat and defrosting the car.

Should say, I already have a airtronic, looking for a water one for engine preheat..

mine is set to come on at 5deg or lower but you can run a wire from pin 3 to earth or 12v (depending on which model you have ) and operate it remotely via just a switch or....remote :mrgreen:
