Evening all
Dried the van off today and put me cover on for the first time , it came with the van and yes its also waxed it gleams! I just want to stop the heavy rain sitting on/inside it.
Its my first van and only had her two weeks so first winter of ownership
Noticed the windows misting slightly , just wondering would it be of any benefit to fit the silver screens that I have whilst its parked up ? My Dad has said he will get me the outside silver screen aswell for front windows and screen , any views on these?
Do I need to put the heating on inside the van to warm it through occasionally? or plug me lead in and run a little heater
Just thought id get a few questions answered from the pros , thanks for any replies

Re: Campers in the cold
the outside thermal wraps will stop misting on the windows, the inside ones will do nothing on that front. Leaving the windows cracked open a bit will help with damp as well. Best option is to drive it though..
Time is a drug. Too much of it kills you

Re: Campers in the cold
The battery is what might give in if you don't drive the van regularly, so it might be work connecting a "trickle charger" if you won't be driving it for a few weeks... Otherwise drive it and have fun.

I have a small dehumidifier that I put on sometimes.
Bit excessive, but why not?

As someone else said, get out and use it
Get yourself set up as a Member of the club (not just a forum user - link at top of page, it is FREE) and have a look at the camping events planned by club members in December. The weather/seasons only dictate what time it gets dark/light, 80-90 doesn't stop camping (that should probably say drinking)
