Hi all
How much drain does an eber put on the leisure battery? Just wondering if it could be left running all night whilst winter wild camping? Am I correct in thinking once it has warmed up the only drain on the battery is the fuel pump?
Curious as to how feasible it is to run the camper off grid for a few days at a time. Fridge and stove can obviously run on gas which leaves the sink using the battery.
This being my first camper it's a bit of a learning curve.
Cheers

Re: Eberspacher
Unfortunately it's not just the pump as you have a 'blower motor' as well as an LED display. I seem to remember 1amp being quoted somewhere and also that Ebbers need a minimum 11.9 starting voltage, which doesn't seem much but there can be an issue with voltage drop through old wiring.
Get yourself a second big leisure battery running along side your existing one and there shouldn't be an issue (I've got my second leisure, 110ah, in the cupboard left of the fridge on my Westy) together with a 72ah under the drivers seat.

Cheers for the replies.
I have the B2L, pleased it's still working. It certainly cranks out some heat!!
