Damp roof lining already!

Post by chriscburgess »

So with winter barely upon us the roof lining on my westy pop top is already feeling damp on the inside.

Is it possible that fibreglass roof is starting to seep water through it from the rain?

If so is there any sort of sealant i can buy to paint on?

Thanks
Chris

If you do find a crack in the fibreglass Capt Trolley's Creeping Crack Cure is good. The downside is it needs the crack to be dry when it's applied and depending on the severity of the crack it may need more than one application. Maybe it's just condensation; been very wet last few weeks and now a cold snap.

What roof lining do you mean? The one above cab or above rear seats

Sounds good. Will look for cracks.

Just condensation mate...our 'flock' roof literally drips, especially after a few hours with two adults asleep inside.
