:D are the winter covers a good idea, do they work. Just want to make sure before offloading more coin lol :ok

Personally, no. They are rarely fully waterproof, scratch the paintwork and trap condensation in the van. Keep the bird sh*t off though.
Are we going on anything else?

no, too much of a pain getting them on and off when you want to use the van.

Wax is better IMHO
Use a Canuba wax.
I use Auto glymm Hi-Def
Applied every six months it weatherproof the seams and paint.
wash with a good car shampoo.
Use rain X on the glass.
