My new interior
Hi,
I'm so chuffed with it I just had to share it
I got a new van a couple of months ago, it was a bare shell inside (panel van), so for the last couple of months i've been busy making it campable. I have done the following:
lined roof (it had a nice fibreglass headlining installed)
boarded and carpeted the whole thing
laid a new floor (laminate) - it costed me £15 and for about 30 minutes work was the most satisfying part.
made new cushions and upholstered them myself (i was new to sewing pretty much but they came out well).
made some curtains.
cleaned it to within an inch of its life
its work in progress as i will make some cabinets or something at some point just trying to decide what i want.
Here are some pics:
Cheers
Harry

Hi,
Thanks for the comments.
Richlaz, I'm not 100% sure as they were in there when I bought it. I think the guy said they were from a Passat.
Cheers

Hi all,
mine's a converted panel van too, but with no headlining - 'bowesy' mentions a fibre glass one - any ideas where to get one or info on alternatives?

That is brilliant. Fantastic cushions, well done, and I love the curtain material.
