Child's bed
Hi not sure if I've put this in the right section just after some ideas as we have a 7 month old baby and not sure what to do for a bed for him as I think he is to small to put a hammock across front seats and not to keen having him on the rock and roll bed with us. So just wondering what any of you have done or if someone has any ideas!
Thanks for looking!!!
Many thanks Sarah

Re: Child's bed
Hi sassy....
not got any direct experience of this myself, but other have had small travel cots on a shelf in the engine bay....over your feet (you have to sleep feet to door) Can put a small curtain under a locker to shelf height so that baby can have some darkness in the evening. Child is convenient during the night as well.
Hope that helps

Had my 2 yr old niece sleep in Snowdrop at the weekend - we found a travel cot that fitted perfectly behind the front seats when the bed was laid out. And she loved it!

We used a samsonite pop up travel cot folds down small, can't roll out, fly netting. It lasted till he was 2 years old.

Hi dont know what van youve got - but i made this bunk in the forward section of the pop top over the cab for our son and he is fine up there. If you had a high top I guess you could something similar.

Re: Child's bed
Had thought of putting a cab bunk in - but we like swivelling the front seats in the evening, and didn't want to lose the space.
Ended up getting a universal bunk from JK (£40 ish) and fitted it across the back above our feet - well, above where our feet will be from now on

I only ordered it on Tuesday evening - and it arrived yesterday Ironically, it seems to have gone up £7 since then.... http://www.justkampers.com/shop/motorho ... 11494.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I had to chop about 18" off each pole to fit it.
