Battery

Post by rustyundchen »

Hi,

I'm going to go to Halfords tonight as I want to put a new battery in the van. It's the one that starts the engine and I just want to know if anyone can recommend one from Halfords that will slot straight into the old ones place.

Many Thanks

Russell.

Battery

I bought a new battery from Halfwits a few months ago. I compared their prices with 3 other sellers & eventually decided on the most powerful option which has a 4 year guarantee. It does cost £69.99 however.

Cheers all.

Think I'll go to Halfords too as it's just easiest and open until 8pm. I cycle to work so don't fancy lugging a battery on my back at lunchtime or something if I try anywhere else!

One other thing, buy a battery from Halfwits & keep the receipt in your camper. Then wherever you are in the UK on holiday, if your battery fails within the guarantee period you will never be too far ( hopefully) from a Halfwits store who should be able to sort out the problem. :)

That's the theory anyway. :)
