As description; plug in on mains hook up - can't say ever noticed before but face place of zig unit hot to the touch. Is this the norm and something I just haven't noticed or something more sinister ?
Cheers

Re: Faceplate of Zig Unit Hot to touch
I noticed today my panel was hot, and I was not connected to mains. I switched the fridge (Zig) on and noticed it was rather hotish, but as the the Sun was very hot and shining on that side of van assumed that was the reason. Left the camp site with fridge switched on ( 12v)... Arrived home, fridge not cold, checked fuse, its blown.
Just one of my problems to check out over the weekend.

Re: Faceplate of Zig Unit Hot to touch
Some zig units have a battery charger incorporated in them that charges either the leisure or starter battery I think. If this is on then that would generate heat.....just a thought
