adding battery to leasure existing battery

Post by SILVERFOX2013 »

hi all i am wishing to add a 2nd battery in parallel to my existing leisure battery . the existing battery is 46amps capacity the second battery would be 75amps
capacity would this be ok to connect together in parallel with the main source of 12v from the 46 amp battery :?:

If you connect both battery's in parallel, then it will act like one 121amp battery, as long as that is ok for you then it will be fine, there's no way to get the 46 amp battery to discharge first without some complicated electronics that are able to switch out the bigger battery!
