Wiring diagram for water pump - Westfalia

Post by petervw »

I have a short circuit somwhere that causes my water pump to run even when ignition off. So I disconntect the wiring just above the water tank to stop it until I can fix it.
- has anyone had this problem and can advise where to look?
- where can I get a wiring diagram of some sort, or better, a plain English explanation and diagrams of how the system works.

Thanks
Peter

All sorted for now. At least I learnt more about the workings of another part of the van. In the end, I found I needed to tweek the micro-switch connected to the tap a bit. Now its seems to be working, the pump going on and off when I turn the tap on and off. I presume it'll go wrong again sometime, but my first action will be to tweek the micro-switch.
