Analogue clock :UPDATE:

Post by Theclash »

If you have read the previous thread you will know that after fitting a new radio my clock bizarrely stopped working. We'll today I fixed it and it is working as it should :D :D :D
Here's what I did.......firstly I checked that there was power going to the red wire (number 5) on the clock multiplug which there was, then I took the binical out of the van and put a 12v feed direct to the positive on the clock (terminal under a small plastic clip) and earthed it with the large nut on the clock and hey presto it worked.
I then tested the ribbon cable at track 5 with a multimeter and found there was a break somewhere on the track.
So to make the clock work I simply put female end connector onto the male positive on top of the clock (remove plastic clip) and soldered it to the red wire from clock multiplug.
If your having clock trouble try this and it may work for you
My clock works now :D :D :D :D all I've to do is learn to tell the time :?
