Blue Sea Usb charger

Post by mattrsa »

Hi All

I bought one of these the other day and have wired it up and noticed that it has a LED on it which I assumed would be lit when you connect a device but is actually lit all the time.
Checking the website it says the current draw is 15mA. I know nothing on convert Amps or mA for that matter to real time useage so can someone help. Is this going to be sufficient draw to drain the battery if left parked up for a few weeks. Shall I wire a switch to it to switch the power on and off?

Thanks in advance

Nope - 15mA is 0.015A, so it will only draw 2.5AH a week. Should be fine.
