1.6td jx

Post by Westy23 »

Hey peeps

anyone got wiring diagrams for the 1.6jx engine?. I've got a flashing oil light, the earths are a bit cruddy behind the dash so that will be the 1st port of call, just would like some info on the oil pressure sensing side of things.

As I understand the switches both operate and different engine rpm the uppermost switch at low rpm and the lower switch at higher rpm. I have no buzzing.

I think I may have a earth problem as I have 12v at the switch end I want a diagram to confirm the the switch should be a earth. oil pressure at the uppermost switch is fine, I've gauged it.

I know this is a t4 page but is this info relevant still (see link)
