battery - alternator - starter - rewire

Post by CovKid »

I'm about to replace all the cables from alternator to starter and on to battery with all new stuff. Much of mine is old, lots of it corroded (green and furry), no matter how far back you cut cable, and not giving the best connection I'd say. I may replace the one to main fusebox too, in readiness for some headlight relay modding. Will take some pics.

Bought 10 metres - 110amp rated. Will probably double up cable between starter and battery though. Should be enough. Will need to be a tidy job (soldered and sealed connectors) so may have to do in stages and post accordingly but might be useful to anyone else considering this job?
