Where ever you found it doesn't change what it is
Its a 30/40A changeover relay 12v coil
Probably for a leisure battery split charge is my guess if ts petrol
Get a pic up of the connectors and somebody will tell you if its standard or add on
Data sheet here

Worth getting your van type year engine etc in your signature

1981 westfalia joker 2litre ac. Thank you, just need to figure out what the extra connectors are for that aren't plugged in then :/ 12v fridge works, both batteries charging, just move along and ignore them perhaps?

TYCO.....so almost definitely not the original split charge relay, 'changeover coil' well the correct relay should be a 'Double make and break', so I think that is why someone has wired things differently.
With some Westfalia's they used the second switched feed for the 12volt supply on the fridge or to switch a second relay on the fridge....either way, to isolate the 12volt supply so that the fridge can only work on 12 volts when the engine is running.
Worth checking ^^^^ to see if your 12 volt side works all the time. If it does, then you run the risk of flattening the leisure battery very quickly when you inadvertently leave the 12 volt button pressed in.
This is what I would swap the relay for: a dedicated split charge relay WITH fridge take off.
