Those particular 'Alpha' batteries have been available under several different names...XplorerLeisure is a new one to me! although this ones a 90ah others are 80ah, or so they say.
The given dimensions indicate that it will fit but I am and continue to be extremely sceptical about this batteries advertised credentials.
Simply put......how have a non descript little known company 'Alpha' managed to produce or source a 90ah battery in a standard format (by that I mean not specialized spiral or other) to those relatively small dimensions.

If it were possible to manufacture a standard shape 90ah battery to those dimensions how is it Bosch/Varta/Lucas/Excide and other MAJOR manufactures have failed to do so.

All I am saying is labels are cheap and claims very difficult to disprove......

Just found the wiki page on the dimensions and as you say it should fit. :)

Agree the claims made are difficult to prove (or disprove). I guess a 80 or 90ah beast is what is was expecting to get and an improvement to the knackered 60ah battery rattling around under the drivers seat. I will measure up and see how close it is

Just checked it was definitely an xplorer via alpha on ebay.

Can only find this one on ebay at the moment which is higher capacity than the one we go, but the measurements are there so you can easily measure the box. The lid closes fine and doesn't hinder the seat

Can confirm the battery fits snugly - without the need from 'wedging' or even clamping.
However the polarity was reversed from the 75amp one I removed.
Which means the positive terminal is mega close to the battery box edge so you need to be careful not to short
I lined the edges with rubber block and used rubber covers - just to be certain.
