Are there any recomendations for what paint to use on my pop top fiberglass roof.
Ive done a search and getting some mixed results as to what is best.
It will have to be applied by hand, outside.

That probably limits you to the likes of rollering Rustoleum.

I've been thinking about this for a while and the paint would need to meet cirtain requirements.
- Be slightly solar reflective
- UV resitsant
- Resistant to bird S**t and tar
- Clean up easily
polyurethane?

Re: Paint for my fiberglass roof
Polyurethane would be a step down from Rustoleum I reckon.
In the boat building world, Brightsides is a polyurethane and Toplac is an alkyd enamel (like Rustoleum).
Toplac is definately more durable and retains the gloss better than Brightsides.
At the end of the day, any one component paint will never be as good as a two pack paint.
International Perfection is a 2-pack polyurethane and you can apply it by roller using the same method as Rustoleum.

Sprayer painted my old van's roof in the same stuff he painted the van in! Never noticed any problems before I parted with it.
