morning all
im about to attack some small weld sections on the van
quick questions
whats best to apply to the back of a bit of bare metal i weld into my van?
what do i do if i cant get to the back of the section?
and whats the best guage steel to use fo general repair?

If you can get to the back, primer and paint, same as exterior really.
what do i do if i cant get to the back of the section?
Use "Weld through" primer and try to get to the back of the repair somehow to paint it as well.(maybe poke a rag on a stick through a hole).
If you really really can't get to the back of it, maybe consider drilling a hole that you can spray some paint through. You could always block the hole with a rubber grommet.
