The sealant mentioned earlier in this thread- is it this kind of stuff? (Butyl acrylic)

Nooo, sealants have different PH levels so its best to use one that is designed for the job, might be ok for wood, plastic, lead but not so good for metal or rubber surfaces. I used granville sealant

Have you checked the roof gutters ?

Have you tried the talcum powder route, shake it liberally over possible areas

I had the upper front panel to a post seams leak, the sealer had shrunk and was letting water in the panel join.
