It's raining

Post by nicktennear »

When I lift my tailgate (and hold it in place, gas struts need a look at) rain water comes pouring out of the rectangular holes in the bottom of the tailgate. The seals are all in place and no obvious holes in the top. Any ideas? I could see the positive, makes a useful water storage system.

Fine if you are posh enough to have a rear wiper

I suspect water could be coming in the window seal

Glad its not just mine, we get loads! Would you silicon round the badge then, or take it off and then seal?

Pull the badge off and the rubber, clean everything up then put silicone around the holes on the flat bodywork. Push rubber backing onto silicone. i cant remember if there is fixings that go through the bodywork.
