Repairing small tear in leather seat

Post by Cruz »

I've recently taken a pair of Saab seats out of my van and put in a pair of T25 captains seats

However the drivers seat has quite a few creases in it from my a*** sliding in and out over the last 4 years. One crease has torn slightly so I have a 10mm long tear in the leather.

Anyone had any luck using tear repair kits and restoration kits?

look on ebay you can buy complete kits some are expensive like kit i bought but comes with all the kit to refurb and re-stain the leather, look for companies that do it might be cheaper than you think friend had two leather golf seats done at 180 quid came back like new and they replaced the bolster cushion too ,

I considered taking it to a 'pro' for them to give me a quote for fixing it but I know the answer won't be worthwhile
