easy to fit, need to remove interior trim and unscrew from the inside may be able to unstick yours try a load of plus gas or wd 40. Does the key turn but not open or key doesn't turn at all?

Hiya,

Key doesn't turn at all. The latch on the inside goes up and down with no effect, and on the outside the handle moves freely to no effect...

Cheers.

A friend had this problem.

The door lock rod had come off. The rod that moves horizontally when you turn the handle thus operating the lock catch.

Basically it's held onto a spiggot with a circlip and the circlip was missing and over time it had worked it's way off. So therefore the handle was no longer attatched to the locking mechanism

Take the trim off the inside of the door and see if that's your problem

Mine did the same thing.
Take off the interior trim.
Open the door using a screwdriver from inside.
Unclip the handle to lock cable(one circlip)
Take off the slider cover(two self tappers)
Slide the door back half way and lift outwards, theres a notch in the runner that lets the roller come out
Support the door at the bottom.
Take the two screws out of the lock, probably be best with impact driver.
Look inside the lock. There is a spring loaded part of the lock that can go too far and just needs to be levered back into place.
Reverse the process and bob's yer uncle.

Good luck
