Effecting all of those winter repairs and having a good look over 1986 Devon I bought in May. Anyway I have found a hole in the rear drivers side wheel arch. The problem seems to be that water has come in through the rear vent and then sat on the arch. My first thoughts before I repair is that a draining point might be blocked, but I cannot find one. Is there a draining point? The off side rear arch is absolutely fine.
Thanks

I dont think there is a drainage point, wouldn't hurt to drill one, unless the water has made a hole for itslef. The bays are notorious for the battery tray corrosion and they did have drain holes (although battery acid didn't help.) clean it up as best you can and smother liberally in waxoyl.
