Plastic windows.....has she buggered them???

The gf was "doing me a favour" and cleaned the windows for me yesterday. However, she used a green/yellow scourer/sponge on the first window and it put loads of light scratches in it so it now looks cloudy!! Luckily she stopped after 1. Is there anyway I can polish it out? I was thinking autoglym super resin Polish might work but don't want to risk making it worse. They are the bronze Westy double glassed windows.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

This looks like the kind of thing, or one of the other similar products.

My misses did exactly the same
luckily only on one window (slider by the cooker). I haven't tried sorting it yet, but will try the Brasso method and see.

If Brasso and toothpaste don't work, google a company called 'Micro Mesh'. The produce kits for restoring acrylic/polycarbonate aircraft windshields. I work in aviation and they are the first choice for professionals. I've restored 30yr+ screens to 'as new' condition using their kits. The plastic windows on my Westy turned out pretty well too!

I use regular Autoglym Super Resin Polish on my plastic windows. They do polish-up quite well.
Using metal polish or toothpaste.. hmm..

I would guess it all depends on whether your cutting out scratches or just appling a shiny surface coating...if its undamaged it's not going to need a cutting compound butif someone has used a brill pad or similar then t cut etc will be the only way as wax polish will only add a layer rather than remove one..
The aero space stuff sounds like the best option so far...

I can confirm Brasso gets a
I'm sure the other products are good too or better, but for a few quid it was worth trying first.
Thanks everyone!

Did you just do it by hand, or with a rotary mop or summat ?
Tell us a bit more as I want to do the same to the one my missus pan scoured
