Front Bimini to protect shiny new paint job ?

My nice shiny van is just coming back from a nice new paint job after 6 months away :lol:

Before our annual 2000 mile blast to France and back - i was thinking about getting a front cover that would still allow it to breathe but protect it from stone chips and demented french flies :-)

Desite consulting google and for hours there seems nothing off the shelf to help...

Any ideas

:run

I think you need to search for a "Bonnet Bra"!

https://www.google.co.uk/#q=vw+t25+bonnet+bra" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

These are readily available for Aircooled and i have seen them for watercooled with square headlights.

They are out there.

How about chipguard - something i'm going to look into when getting the bodywork/respray done on mine:

one thing that doesnt mix - fresh paint and bonnet bras/car covers , trapped moisture will sweat in there and cause blisters

if you must use one id suggest you only fit it when driving and leave it off when parked overnight to let the air on the paint
