Quarter light glass broken - advice sought -edit help given!

Post by H Julia »

Hello there - Sorry if this is a much asked and answered query . Had a quick search but info focused on seals.
Just found my quarter light broken - some one ( could be less polite! ) has thrown a stone through the window after folding the mirror back. No idea if simple vandalism or intent to steal but have my safeTypedal fitted. At the moment crazed glass is still more or less in place , so can't see properly but it looks tricky to refit the glass ? Can it be done by auto glass or some such or is it more specialist??
Many thanks :)

Julia

Hi Mike, Thanks for that. Yes it is a fixed quarter light. Didn't think it would be too simple to fix! Been having good run with the van so will try to take in my stride! If get stuck might give Chris a shout an see what he says! :)
Hope things good with you.

Just be glad its not an opening quarterlight. They're getting rarer.
