Hi,
The van is starting to look a little more like a van.... Interior going in, headlining looking good and all the rust spots around the windows dealt with.
Because the windows have metal surrounds there appears to be a different seal where there is a packing strip type of thing.
Any ideas where to source these or advice on window seals overall.
Thanks,
Pete
Denim interior..... All weird .... Pictures to be posted soon.

I think you mean the locking strip.
I just bought some from here, they have all kinds. I also bought the tool for inserting the strip.

unfortunately not the locking strip.
Because the metal is thinner than the glass there is some packing that fits into the channel where the glass would sit, Taking it out wrecked what was in as it was full of gunk,
will call round some suppliers and see where I get.

I am no expert but could you not use a seal with a smaller gap, the ones on the web site start at 3 mm ?
If not it may have to be one of the VW places, Heritage etc.
Just spotted a post from last year that Metalmickby had the correct seals, so I give him a shout first.
