Halfords Truck Bed Paint, an experiment on bumpers

Post by fairwynds »

Painted my steel bumpers with this stuff last week, looks to be ok. Covered all the imperfections well as it's textured. Will update in a year!

Yeahi like that too, looks smart and also the same thing (texture) I wanted for doing my cab steps instead of mats.

Thanks and let me know if it peels off in the next few days :-P

I just copied the bumper and did mine, they looked awful before but now pretty good. I'd just done ny vents and grills is a Matt black but have decided now to recoat with this.

Oh and my sliding door handle was all crap and tarnished so I scufffed it up and sprayed this on that too, will see how long it lasts but will probably do my cab handles too.

Strange texture underhand but looks pretty cool with the van, especially as its meant to be grey but has turned out looking an American army green :-P
