Re: body panels and how they go back together
Some more grinding today, had to finish quickly so a coat of vactan has been applied, looks okay around the filler, but the arch is going to have to come out anyway I think? just to be sure there is something solid behind it. Outrigger looks okay, i realised i haven't got a photo of the outrigger, get one tomorrow, jacking point is sold but i think i am going to have to cut it out to fix the back of the B pillar? I know it looks bad but I am going to cut and grind then apply new shiny stuff liberally. pictures from today below.

Re: body panels and how they go back together
Well it's rusty but its honest rust...no filler or hidden bodgery...still looks advanced however.
Re: body panels and how they go back together
so, i cut part of the wing off, and cleaned up inside to see what thee is to work with. here are a few more pictures, i need to cut a bit more out here, front of the b pillar jacking point and rear of the b pillar, and the bit of the out rigger that makes up the rear of the front arch, then i can start to think about the reconsrtuction of this bit.
Hope to get out there some more this week.
