I do this with mine too, seat back upright and it just slides on the runners. I also have worked out that with the Buddy box we have if I turn it 90 degrees and extend its side flap to make a double length seat. All I need is a bit of padding to bridge the gap over the passenger seat box and I have an extra bed, a little narrow but a put me up all the same
