Hi Folks,
I've started tidying the bodywork of my van, I bought it as a resto project some time ago but as usual family & work life got in the way and hit a standstill a while back, I've got back into things over the weekend and want to get stuck in now. It's a 1990 twin slider bus that we plan to give a mild camper conversion to, the drivers side sliding door runner is pretty poor with rust and the rollers & hinges are pretty rotten. Ive pretty much decided to convert it to a lift up door as I will still have a sliding door on the passenger side, does anybody have any experience with this conversion? Or point me in the right direction for advice.
I don't want to just jump into it and thought I'd ask if there was a best way to do it?
Thanks
Craig
