Wooden floor rot

Post by oddnumber »

Right then, was having a prod and poke under the laminate flooring today, I came across a rotten area of wooden floor directly behind and between the driver and passenger seats, about 6" square roughly. Is there a common point of water ingress around there somewhere? The floor seems to be ok everywhere else from what I could see. I'm tempted to patch it up rather than remove the whole floor.

Ta very much

No its not, but folk spill all kinds of stuff and if it had nowhere to go, the board would have soaked it up.
