Panel diagrams???

Post by Tricks »

Hi All

the lower side panel (drivers side RHD) on my van is rotted where it has had a leaking fridge and having stripped the van down from the inside the panel perpendicular to this is also partially rotten.

Lots and lots of posts about inner / outer rotten sills but the section that's touching the lower side panel does not look like any of the pictures I have seen of the inner or outer sills.

Does anyone have a decent exploded diagram of the various panels that are on the side of the van so that I can order the right replacements

Many Thanks

Rich

Try Vagcat.com you will have to sign up to get access to the parts catalogue , but it is a bliddy useful site as you not only get the parts diagrams but the parts numbers as well which come in useful at the useless main dealers when ordering random bolts for a fraction of a price of the so called specialists. Also useful for checking with the german classic.de to still see if they have original parts .

I think the bits you want are the top closure plates which sadly are something that has to made as no longer availiable
