wrong seats ...wrong swivel base???

on the never ending strip down of my van , taken seats & swivel base out today. Compared with another camper that is in the garage mine dont deem right.....the base has Boxter written on it so presumably its for a Peugeot ?


the seats are Recardo, got rover written on the base, the runners are 42cm apart from centers, the ones in the other camper are 39cm.
can anyone shed any light on this, main problems, seats are very high & dont fit well on bases.

So what do you want to do?
Refit the seats without the base?
Refit the base without the seat, get seats that fit it?

well, probably keep the seats, but it looks like the runners are too wide , do i need a different base?

Can the base not be re drilled or modded in some way? most seats can be made to fit with a bit of engineering, my saab ones sit on the seat boxes with the runners drilled off the box and the passengers swivel is off a Mercedes vito. There are a few old threads on here about fitting other seats.
