Replacement Interior Offside Sill

Post by Fudgy666 »

I'm trying to source a replacement Interior Offside sill . . . . well I'm 75% sure that's what the panel is called :?:

Just Kampers do one, and looking at the photo it's the exact panel I need :ok :

http://www.justkampers.com/vw-t25-parts ... -1992.html

But it's on back order and there is no planned stock coming in.

I've found this one at Alan Schofield (Who seem to get very positive forum reviews for their panels), I'm fairly sure it's the same panel, but the angle of the photo is kinda wierd and I'm not 100% sure.

http://www.alanhschofield.com/ourparts/ ... 01252.html

I did drop them a line, to ask if it is indeed the same panel, but I've not had a reply.

Sooooooo anyone know, is it the same panel as the Just Kampers one ?

I think if you get a schofeilds one it will be one they make, but the JK one appears to be a genuine vw one...hence not available!

The School fields ones are fine, but not 100% original looking as they are made from sheet rather than stamped and pressed.

The Schofeilds panel is one that is made up by them, as there is a slight delay in the order whilst it is made.

I've ordered one, so I'll post up some pics and see how it goes.

I have used a Schofields inner sill, was actually a really good fit, only problem is it doesn't have any of the drain holes etc in it.

I've already ordered the Schofields interior sill panel, but these have turned up on FleaBay if anyone else is after the same panel:

Might go for cheap, you never know ? :?

Yep, the Schofields panel arrived just before the weekend and it looks really good quality and well made up, however . . .

I only said I was 75% sure I was requesting the correct panel. It turns out this panel was of the 25% variety and hence not required ! DOH !

The actual panel I need is this one:

But not the sill part of it. It's the section that is almost completely missing in the photo and makes up the actual floor surface.

Does anyone have a name or part number for this panel, that's if it is even a panel you can buy ?

Bingo ! That's the bit (The replacement one you made up looks really top notch !):

Cheers for the pointer Mm, I see what you mean about the 2 sections :ok :ok :ok :ok

I've E-mailed the guys at Schofields (Now I know the name of the panel) to see if they do those Floor Closure Plates, and to see if I can return my unused inner sill for an exchange.

But if that doesn't work out I might take you up on your offer Mm. Any chance you could message me with how much you want for both the front and rear panel ? :ok

Is the rear part not the outer sill and the front part a triangley bit? I put a vw sill on my van and a side middle panel and it was certainly all one lump at the back.
