Wet carpets

Post by rubyvan »

Hi all
Can anyone shed any light on a problem I have been having with the van a westi atlantic
I have noticed that when I lift up the grey drivers and passenger side mats, the carpet underneath is soaking on both sides I.e. the drivers and passenger side.
What could it be does anyone have any ideas P.S The van has been stationary for a while now so cannot be due to driving it.
Cheers

It could be coming from a poor seal around the windscreen. Maybe the seal needs renewing or there could be corrosion behind the seal.

This is a fresh thread on the subject

It's going to be windscreen seal without a doubt I'd say even if it looks good had both the gipsy and Cali one fixed they normally go on corners so you end up with a hole in the metal it's not as bad as it sounds and shouldn't cost that much to have sorted
