Hi,
I am currently having my van re sprayed and need to replace the exterior chrome trim on the A pillars. I have looked on Gunzl & VW Heritage and they only have black (see link: http://www.vwheritage.com/vw_spares_A-p ... tartRow=61" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
Brickwerks don't seem to have it at all.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Matt

Chrome part number is 251-853-705 739 but I'm afraid you will only find black for sale anywhere.
Chrome's for Bays anyway
If you do go for black then get it from Heritage using their classic parts link. It may take longer to come but each side is listed as £10 cheaper

Re: Chrome A pillar Trim
Hi Cruz,
Thanks for the reply. I wonder why mine has chrome trim then? Did the original Carat Westy's have black? My window rubbers all have the chrome trim, seems strange the pillar trim would be black.

Hi Faggie,
That would be great, thanks. Do you know when they will be available, and how much you would want for them? PM me if you would.

Re: Chrome A pillar Trim
I had this problem and used chrome mini wheel arch trim - the 'L' shaped stuff. It went on fine and only needs a spot or two of adhesive/sealant to keep it there.
