Hi all
Just travelled 1600 miles ( Pyrenees and back ) and on the final day van started overheating , kept topping up as water was evaporating every 15 kms .
Checked in header tank and it seems like the water is not circulating , which would explain the overheating. French mechanic seemed to think it could be the thermostat.
Has anybody had similar things happen. Incidentally a new waterpump and thermostat was fitted about 2 months ago ,( waterpump seems fine ) but I suppose the thermo could go.
Many thanks
over heating

Re: over heating
No its not the thermostat , tested and workin fine. Tried K Seal to seal up any cracks in cylinder head \ gasket , still over heats.
So , it could still be cylinder head \ gasket , or, it could be something else that i'm unaware of.
Any thoughts out there.
Cheers
