hi everyone my van seems to run for a little bit then it just cuts out with no power :( can not find the problem with it and been to garage but because it only does it every now and then they cant seem to find it is there anybody that can help me out
your not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on :trunk

O no not another one......
Theres many possibilities but that said you would need to give more details of problem before people can comment!
My general opinion based upon what you have said ie that it cuts out intermittently i would say that its likely to be dirt particles blocking the main idle jet.

Let us know more in respects of condition of carb .... :ok
I have a 1.9 DG Petrol Watercooled Panel Van 1990 ... that im starting to believe has issues!!!!

Double heck that fuel filter especially in the neck of it on the fuel tank side.

perhaps more fool hardy trying to save a buck or two before admitting defeat and letting a real pro have look at it would be more accurate :)

hi everyone sorry have not been bk on here in a while had lots going on at the mo thanks for everybodys help we r still trying to sort it out we have just got it bk from the garage again now and we have done a couple of little runs in it now and nothing at the mo fingers crossed but thinking of taking it on a long run sunday so will let you all know how things go :ok
